If you are a Sales Professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in Gonzales, LA , you will be responsible for driving instrumentation sales in Baton Rouge and the surrounding territory and accounts. This is a REMOTE field-based position located within the territory.

AS A TECHNICAL SALES REPRESENTATIVE YOU WILL:

• Work closely as a Strategic Partner with current and prospective customers to understand business needs and recommend solutions that will maintain and grow sales
• Utilize proven sales strategies and CRM to promote and sell the company image and "Total Value"
• Regularly perform territory analysis and planning
• Pursue and win major project business
• Successfully provide sales solutions independently and collaboratively across teams

WHO YOU ARE:

• You use knowledge of business drivers and how strategies and tactics play out in the market to guide actions.
• You build and deliver solutions that meet customer expectations.
• You understand internal and external stakeholder requirements, expectations, and needs.
• You create competitive and breakthrough strategies that show a clear connection between vision and action.

Requirements

• A 4-year technical degree related to company product or industry or will consider a combination of education and experience related to instrumentation products
• Minimum 3 years of related experience
• Valid driver's license
• Must be a self-starter and work with limited supervision
• Up to 5% travel, primarily in the assigned region or willingness and ability to travel within territory as required, to include minimal overnight stay for training, regional meetings
• Legal authorization to work in the United States
